Grab a new guitar now..!

Hey Folks

It looks like another LOCKDOWN is imminent in the UK. Possibly even this week...

If you're thinking that could drive you nuts and a hobby might be a good idea, could I strongly urge you to buy a guitar straight away, you can then sign up to my courses and put some of that time to good use?

This is the YAMAHA F310 guitar I recommend to beginners. It's an affordable and award winning guitar and palys well straight out the box.

This the best price I could find; https://www.mannsmusic.co.uk/guitars/acoustic-guitars/yamaha-acoustic-guitars/yamaha-f310-acoustic-guitar-natural.htm?opt=24393

Here's a review;

This is the course I have available for beginners; https://davecrix.podia.com/bare-bones-acoustic-kickstarter

And more courses will be available soon here; https://davecrix.podia.com/

Introducing the Bare Bones - Acoustic Kickstarter course

Would you like to sit round that campfire playing songs on your guitar, rather than just wishing you could?

Are you convinced you’re not talented enough to play guitar, left it too late, or you’ll fail?

I can teach you a very simple method that will have you playing in just a couple of months!

Hi. I’m Dave and I’ve been a music coach teaching guitar, singing, songwriting and performance for about 11 years. In that time I’ve helped people just like you, with all the issues people have when they start learning guitar and have developed a style of teaching that is fun, fast and effective!

I’ve been around a while and I know what works, and I know where people struggle, get overwhelmed and give up before they’ve even given themselves a chance.

Having taught literally hundreds of students over the last decade, I’ve developed my Bare Bones - Acoustic Kickstarter method, which I believe is the easiest and fastest method available to get you playing songs fast on guitar.

There is NO theory, and we take baby steps in a logical order, in a structured course where you can also give me feedback so I can modify and include it all to refine this with nothing left out.

This is NOT like YouTube. I’m actually here for YOU. Listening to your feedback and making sure you get what you need.

You can also check out my own music by listening to my album. I wrote, recorded, mixed and produced the whole thing in my studio here at Rhythm Shack. I’m also creating a lesson to teach you one of my songs.

You can read testimonials from many happy students on my website, but here’s just a taste for you:

Dave’s high standards, experience, and encouraging coaching have meant that I have gone from a complete novice to playing, singing and writing my own songs and now recording them in less than 5 years. The combination of 1-2-1 lessons, group meet ups, challenging exercises to do at home and the whole rhythm shack community environment has been thoroughly enjoyable as well as very productive. If you’re unsure just do it, you won’t regret it.

I would like to thank you for all that you've taught me. Not just the playing but also the understanding behind the music. You're a wonderful teacher and a real nice person. I don't know what the future will bring in terms of guitar but I won't stop playing or learning as I feel I've got enough behind me now to carry on progressing.

I've been to a few guitar teaches over the years and Dave is the best I've been to. He won't teach you how to shred but If you want to get good at singing and playing acoustic guitar, or if you can already play and sing but want to get better, look no further.

You could pay for hourly guitar lessons, that will cost you around £30, but in between each lesson, you’ll be left to your own devices and this often means your guitar will sit in a corner gathering dust.  Does that sound familiar?

Whereas for just £49 you get instant access to my Barebones Acoustic Kickstarter course and real-time support from me as you go.

The course includes:

  • Videos taking you step by step through all of the following;
  • Introduction
  • Recommendations before you start
  • How to tune your guitar using the Tuna app
  • How to read chord diagrams
  • 5 chords (Em, Am, G, D, C)
  • Practice and Feedback
  • How to improve moving between chords
  • Rhythm Shack strumming approach
  • Percussive strumming
  • Numerous song videos showing you not just the song but building up various skills as you go through them
  • Pdf documents including songsheets

I think anyone would agree this is a pretty sweet deal to learn guitar in such a short time, and get lifetime access to the course so you can come back to it again and again.

I’ll be honest, this course is already better than I expected and with your input and feedback as you go through it, we will make it even more awesome.

I want you to be part of this. So I’m offering a limited number of FREE spaces if you sign up before 30th October.

I fully believe in this course, and I’m happy to offer you a full refund if you find it doesn’t work. All I ask is that you decide if it was the course or you that didn’t work.

Let’s do this!

You've found arguably the best solution if you want to learn to play songs on guitar (assuming this course content suits you), is there a better option? I don’t think so.

What if you don’t do this?
You are still reading because you want to learn this. So why not take that next step?

You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

But only if you jump in and do this...

Remember; This is the easiest and fastest method available to get you playing songs fast on guitar.
There is no theory, and we take baby steps in a logical order, in a structured course where you can also give me feedback so I can modify and include it all to refine this with nothing left out.

This NOT like YouTube. I’m actually here for YOU.

You could be playing guitar by Christmas, or your birthday, or be taking you guitar on holiday.

Fancy fooling around with Rhiannon?

Here's a fairly simple version of a popular song by Fleetwood Mac.

In fact I've shown a few options you could play around with. The easiest one is using just two finger chords, which is quite a nice exercise for beginners. A bit less to remember maybe?

Let me know how you get on.

Don't forget to give me some feedback so I know how well the videos work for you.
